The restaurant, funded by the business man Alfred Akirov (one of the hotel’s owners), set its goal to be the best kosher restaurant in Jerusalem.

The menu is shaped by the culinary vision of the Chefs -  Oren Yerushalmi. The duo created a one of a kind menu, based on surprisingly bold combinations, colorful and rich tastes, all of which are made from top quality local ingredients.
The kitchen is based on traditional Mediterranean flavours combined with French cooking techniques, all of which make for original dishes and unique, impressive presentation.

Located in the luxurious David Citadel Hotel, Scala is designed in an elegant and festive manner while maintaining a gracious, professional and welcoming service.
The restaurant's high standards and goal of being the prime kosher restaurant in Jerusalem dictate the equally high prices. However, if it’s in your budget, you should definitely book a table to one of Jerusalem’s most recommended restaurants.
